IDIOM STICKERS
The assignment was to design and create stickers at a professional level. These stickers were required to be image-based and should hold a message/vibe/meaning.
Sketches
What I was able to do with this page of sketches was breaking down the idiom and then see how I can use them together.
Stages
I initially didn't know what style I wanted to go with, but after some experimenting I was able to come with the idea that was in unison with all of my work and that was this cartoon vibe and look to each piece.
As I focused more on the cartoon look, I was able to give more of the features that I wanted.
Now these sketches were very rough, and initially I was very frustrated with the quality of them. The connection between what I wanted to put on the paper and what I actually had wasn't there.

I had an idea to change the paper and use a darker tone. I didn't understand why exactly, but soon after I started on the darker toned paper, my creative juices started flowing again!
Levels of Modifications
Throughout the process, I was given advice on keeping steps and stages of the work to show the progress. My last two designs I kept that progress available and recorded them here.
